In brief…
Lauren Schiller is an award-winning producer, live event moderator, and author. She believes in the power of story and shared experience to create connection, open minds and catalyze change. Lauren is a podcast-pioneer who has created numerous shows which are known for their honesty and intimacy including the trailblazing nationally syndicated radio program Inflection Point, about how women build power and lead change--and what happens when they do. Her new book "It’s a Good Day to Change the World: Inspiration and Advice for a Feminist Future" explores what it takes to achieve an equal, just, and joy-filled world.
Lauren has also been Executive Producer of Audio for Salon Media; a guest host for The Conversation on the BBC World Service, and moderates live events, including for City Arts & Lectures, The Commonwealth Club, Cal Performances, and JCCSF. Lauren’s conversations elicit surprising stories and reveal insightful truths about the world we live in, how we got here, and where we go next. Before all that, she was one of the first female partners in the award-winning advertising firm she led.
